Gemma Salvadó, PhD, Lund University, Lund, Sweden, compares plasma ptau217 with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers for predicting tau positron emission tomography (PET) status. She mentions that ptau217 is a better predictor of tau PET status than CSF biomarkers, and ptau217 is well correlated with both amyloid and tau at different thresholds.
