Boris Kantor, PhD, Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL, discusses preclinical findings on APOE-targeted epigenome therapy for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Prof. Kantor notes that the system has been validated in vitro and in animal settings, showing specific and efficient downregulation of APOE4, and that the technology is ready to be translated to clinical trials. This interview took place at the 2026 Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) in London, UK.
