Omonigho Michael Bubu, MD, MPH, PhD, NYU Grossman School of Medicine, New York City, NY, discusses the relationship between cognitive performance and educational attainment. Dr Bubu highlights that individuals who complete educational studies tend to have a protective effect with respect to cognitive outcomes, but also notes that vocational training and non-traditional educational routes can have domain-specific effects on cognitive performance.
