In this interview, recorded at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) 2018, held in Chicago, IL, Diego Gomez-Nicola, PhD, of the University of Southampton, Southampton, UK, discusses future goals for research in this field. He touches upon existing data, which are largely extrapolated from mouse models, and highlights the importance of moving research into preclinical and clinical settings to more comprehensively understand how this disease mechanism works in humans.
