Liana Apostolova, MD, MS from Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, IN speaks to us about a recent scientific symposium, entitled ‘Pathologic Heterogeneity of Alzheimer’s Disease’. One of the topics discussed by the speakers was the need for improved characterization of co-pathologies and Dr Apostolova discusses the importance of this area in the field, giving examples of where this has been achieved. This interview was recorded at the 2017 Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) held in London, UK.
