ARUK 2022 | Goals of the ARUK Early Careers Research Strategy

Rosa Sancho, PhD, Alzheimer’s Research UK, Cambridge, UK, explains the goals of the Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) Early Careers Research Strategy. These goals include retaining early career researchers, encouraging them to continue their careers in dementia research, as well as increasing collaboration among researchers. ARUK aims to provide training in areas such as management and leadership, policy, public engagement, and fundraising to support early career researchers as they progress, in addition to organizing events such as the annual conference and developing a mentoring scheme.
