Riona Mc Ardle, PhD, Brain and Movement Research Group, Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, discusses how gait can be a potential tool to aid clinical decision-making diagnosis. Dr Mc Ardle reveals that analyzing gait in dementia subtypes using wearable technology might be more useful and feasible for a clinician in comparison to a specialist gait laboratory.
