Davide Tampellini, PhD, U1195 INSERM Institute Baulieu, Paris, France, speaks on the importance of diagnostic tools for neurodegenerative disease, particularly the development of cerebrospinal fluid, blood, and MRI biomarkers. Discriminating between different types of dementia, such as Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, and Lewy body dementia, is important to monitor patients and their treatment.
