ADI 2016 | Epidemiology and prevention of dementia

At the 31st International Conference of Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI), held in Budapest, Hungary, from April 21–24 2016, Carol Brayne, MD, from University of Cambridge, Cambridge, United Kingdom, discusses preventative strategies for dementia, including primary prevention, which aims to detect risk factors that decrease or delay the development of dementia; and secondary prevention, which aims to detect asymptomatic dementia to prevent progression.
