ARUK 2018 | Preparing to implement future dementia treatments today

During it’s 2018 conference, held in London, UK, Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) released a policy report called ‘Thinking Differently: preparing today to implement future dementia treatments’, which investigated the impact that a new treatment for Alzheimer’s Disease would have. Speaking from the meeting, David Reynolds, BA, PhD, Chief Scientific Officer of ARUK, Cambridge, UK, explains the multifaceted nature of this comprehensive report, which was carried out in collaboration with the London School of Economics. Notably, he highlights the aim of this report in bringing together different stakeholders, so that once a treatment is available patients can access it quickly.
