Presenilin-1 (PSEN1) mutations cause familial Alzheimer’s disease characterized by early age of onset. Markus Glatzel, MD, University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Hamburg, Germany, discusses a study investigating the pathophysiological drivers and clinical impact of age of onset variation in the Colombian PSEN1 E280A population. This interview took place during the Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) Conference 2021.
