ARUK 2021 | The benefit of using different models to study Alzheimer’s disease

Bryan Ng, PhD Student, University of Oxford, Oxford, UK, advocates for the use of different models within the same research group to improve discussion across the research community. The access to alternative human models, such as human stem cells, may facilitate the comparison and discussion of data between research groups benefiting the research community worldwide. The use of human stem cells, its technical challenges and the relevant Alzheimer’s disease phenotypes derived from these cells are discussed. This interview took place during the Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) Conference 2021.
