Laura Santambrogio, MD, PhD, Weill Cornell Medicine, New York, NY, describes how the lymphatic system modulates immunity. One facet of this is that lymphatic endothelial cells are antigen-presenting cells and so can present peptides to immune cells. Lymphatic vessels are also a conduit for immune cells. Therefore T-cells and migratory dendritic cells move through the lymphatic system. This interview took place at the AD/PD™ 2022 International Conference on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases hosted in Barcelona, Spain.
