Byron Creese, PhD, University of Exeter Medical School, Exeter, UK, discusses psychosis as one of a number of neuropsychiatric symptoms seen in patients with dementia. Other symptoms include agitation, aggression, depression, apathy, and irritability. Dr. Creese highlights the impact of these symptoms on patients and their caregivers.
