The range of therapeutic options for dementia patients in nursing homes can be extremely limited. Pieter Jelle Visser, MD, PhD from Maastricht University and VU University Medical School, Amsterdam, Netherlands talks to us about the efforts to provide music therapy as an option to patients in these homes, and the benefits of its implementation. This interview was recorded at the 2017 Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) held in London, UK.
