Majid Fotuhi, MD, PhD, Johns Hopkins University, Washington, D.C., discusses findings from a comparative review of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) evaluating multidomain lifestyle interventions and anti-amyloid monoclonal antibodies in mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and early Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Dr Fotuhi highlights how exercise, Mediterranean diet, and cognitive training were associated with improvements in cognitive scores, while monoclonal antibodies had more subtle impacts on cognitive function.
